As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Airtel—one of the world’s largest telecommunications and technology companies with over 400 million customers—he leads the company’s cybersecurity, resiliency, and privacy functions, safeguarding critical digital and network infrastructure. Before joining Airtel, Varun served as the Global Chief Security Officer (CSO) of Micron, a semiconductor manufacturing leader, and Veritas Technologies, where he built the company’s cyber and physical security programs from the ground up.
